The Advanced Junior Golf Class at Winnetka Golf Club blends the best of our Travel and High School Prep levels into a comprehensive fall program designed for experienced junior golfers. This class is ideal for players with prior on-course experience who are looking to elevate their game through focused instruction, competitive formats, and regular on-course play. Students will work on refining swing mechanics, improving consistency under pressure, and developing strong course management skills. Each class session includes both skill-based instruction and 9 holes of golf with competitive and strategic formats that simulate real tournament play. Whether preparing for a high school golf team or simply seeking a more competitive and structured environment, this class offers the challenge and support needed to grow as a player.

What makes The Golf Practice different?
The Golf Practice uses a holistic approach to golf training focusing on the whole student and not
just swing mechanics. Students will build athleticism and coordination, learn safety, and develop
social skills that will elevate them on and off the golf course. The golf curriculum at The Golf
Practice is based on developing curiosity about the game. Summer Camps include fast-paced
stations, colorful aesthetics, and energetic staff to create an engaging environment of learning
and fun. Once students become interested in golf and show developing skills, they graduate to
the Travel League and High School Prep Summer Camps and begin to hone their game, learn to
compete, and develop confidence on the golf course. The roadmap provided by The Golf
Practice, in partnership with the Winnetka Park District, creates a pathway for junior
golfers to achieve their goals and become confident, successful young adults.
